We have been made aware that the name of Angels Solicitors LLP is being used in a document purporting to be a Tenancy Agreement. The ‘landlord’ suggests that they are using the services of Angels Solicitors LLP in respect of Tenancy Agreements and Contracts and requests that ‘deposits’ are paid to Angels Solicitors LLP. We believe that this is a scam and should not be responded to. This Firm has no involvement in the preparation of such documents and does not act as a collector of deposits for Tenancy Agreements. If you receive any such communications, please treat it with extreme caution.

HMRC Trust Registration Deadline – September 2022

The deadline for registrations for non-taxable trusts in existence on 6 October 2020 is 1 September 2022. Non-taxable trusts created after 6 October 2020 must register within 90 days of being created or otherwise becoming registerable, or by 1 September 2022 (whichever is later). The failure to register may result in a financial penalty.
